Quilt Backgrounds
Images courtesy of Betsey Telford's Rocky Mountain Quilts
Alan Lomax likened American culture to a patchwork quilt "made of
the dreams and songs of all its people." He used the motif for one
of his last tributes to the American people, the PBS series American
Patchwork.
