The Global Jukebox is an audio-visual knowledgebase of world song and dance styles created by the Association for Cultural Equity
in the early 1990s. Funding for the Global Jukebox was provided by the National Science Foundation, the National Endowment
for the Arts, Apple Computer, the Rex Foundation and Interval Research Foundation.
This video features Alan Lomax and includes demonstrations of the software by Forrestine Paulay, Michael Del Rio, Gideon D'Arcangelo and Andrew Kaye.
